Did you know eggs can add a dose of omega-3 fatty acids to your diet??
Another go to protein option for me is canned or freshly-cooked smoked salmon, , or tuna chunks.
Most times I use tuna, as salmon is the more expensive option so I save those for special occasions when I do my fancy breakfast platters. Turkey bacon can be used which is also a healthy option being the leaner choice
than regular bacon.
I love to pair my protein with carbs to kick-start energy levels,
and toast wheat bread is a permanent favorite of mine usually with lightly
spread butter or sometimes I use jam for extra taste.
Optional: I usually add a side salad with leafy greens and tomatoes for texture/colour or fruits such as strawberries, melon, grapes and pineapple to please the eye and fiber/vitamins to please the digestive system.
I need some protein to start my day, even if it’s just one perfectly cooked egg with the yolk still gooey.
I love runny eggs!😁
How do you like your eggs??💁
This looks yummy! I love eggs. Not a fan of runny eggs but I have tried it and it wasn’t bad ☺️
ReplyDeleteThanks for the information concerning the importance of eggs in our diet. This certainly looks healthy and well balance. Well done.
ReplyDeleteI love eggs, but I’m not the biggest fan of the sunny side up gig. But, it’s said, you must try new things at least once. So here goes! 2 eggs runny-side-up coming up! Ding!
ReplyDeleteRunny would not be my first second or third choice but I love eggs. Honestly I've never tried them runny so they may be great as well but good ole hard boiled or scrambled eggs on a morning is a great breakfast in my books.
ReplyDeleteI agree! Adding them to your daily diet is indeed an egg-cellent idea 👌😏
ReplyDeleteI like scrambled eggs the most.
